The successful prelaunch of the book titled SEX, written by Waverley-based mother of 4, wife and awards winning author of 4 books, Victorine Mbong Shu was on Saturday the 24th of November 2018 in Johannesburg. Victorine who writes on Parenting, Identity, Finance, Attitude and Intimacy, says that the prelaunch and subsequently the launch of this book is strategically positioned within the “16 Days of Violence Against Women and Children” because according to her, most of the violence against women and children are sex-related.
Victorine has written a book that bares solution to many problems that plague todays’ society. Describing why she wrote this book to the privy audience, she said that her intention is to see “people get closer than the closeness that sex offers. This is emotionally, psychologically, socially and intellectually. When people are educated about something, they come to understand why they consume it, how they should consume it, with whom they should consume it and how they should empower their partners with whom it is consumed … and their dependents too. No one sees the other as more powerful than them or vice versa. Hence, the reduction of abuse by friends, family members, relatives, colleagues and partners,”
Victorine says that those who attended the prelaunch on Saturday night were very happy. It is evident in the following messages that she received after the session;
“… I’m very happy about yesterday’s outcome 💯👌🏽” . Dee attended with her husband.
“… I must say you know what you were talking about. I wish you could do family.” Julia who has been married for 20 years.
“Morning, morning Victorine, we arrived safe at home, thank you for such an awesome book review. We enjoyed every moment of it. Have a blessed day.” Kopane and his wife.
Good night. That was a very good session. Well done Victorine. That was so dynamic and Dr. Fru did a good job of setting boundaries for us. He chaired well and l am sure with more brainstorming the sex awareness can turn into something very big.” Georgina has been married for 30 years.
From every indication, Victorine do not want people to see sex and sexually related behaviours as taboos. According to her, if people can express their sexual needs, challenges with sex and are able to listen to others’, the world will be drifting towards less struggles on equality.
“SEX, is a book of healing to many. As an Involved Parenting Conversationalist, my hope is for parents to be so empowered by this book that they are able to empower their children long before they are broken by sex.” Victorine concluded.
She hopes to see you on the 7th of December at 6 pm for the book launch. Copies of the book are already available, and you can get them directly from the author at R220.00.
Is SEX a Nightmare or a Blessing? As relationships mature, some couples loose sex while others regain it. There are specific factors in sex that make people happy. It could just be a choice of partner, the kinds of sex, the penis, vagina, tongue, fingers, the reasons for sex, attention to body parts, sex positions, or the environment in which sex takes place. Know your psychology and awaken a sleeping penis. Know yourself and stimulate a non-responsive clitoris. Know your partner and make love happily. Know Sex to avoid being an EX.
